FOX AND OTTER ROOMS
AGES 2 ½ - 3 ½ YEARS
Fox and Otter Rooms each cater for 20 children between the ages of 2 ½ - 3 ½ years with five members of staff the room leader of Fox Room is also a Deputy Manager and the other has a level 3 in Children’s Care Learning and Development and has worked with babies and young children both here and abroad. This room is laid out to further encourage the children’s independent working and is designed to meet their inquisitive nature and need to explore.
Fox Room Daily Routine
7.30 – 8.45 Breakfast is served in the dining room
7.30 – 9.00 Morning activities according to the planning
10.00 Rolling snack is offered
9.00 - 10.00 Garden Time
10.00 – 11.00 Morning activities according to the planning continues
11.00 – 11.15 Hand washing and preparation for lunch
11.15 – 12.00 Lunch Time
12.00 – 3.15 Afternoon activities according to the planning
2.00 Rolling snack is offered
3.15 – 3.30 Tidying away activities and preparation for tea time
3.30 - 4.15 Tea Time
4.15 – 4.45 Table top activities/Story time/Music and movement
4.45 - 5.15 Garden Time
5.15 – 6.30 Table top activities/Story time/Music and movement continues
